From the Start, Accused of Plagiarism at the Anime Convention? I’ll Prove Myself

I, Su Bai, am a figure-sculpting prototype artist who has been active in the anime fandom. On the first day of an anime convention, a limited-edition figure I designed for the niche anime Starrail Fairy Tale became a huge hit. The White Moon Society, exhibiting at the same event, immediately accused me of copying its unreleased design. In the ensuing clash, I unexpectedly fell out with three sweet, naive heroines: Lin Zhaozhao, a cosplayer; Lu Tangtang, an anime reviewer; and Gu Xingmian, a fan artist. They were respectively a partner of the White Moon Society, the original work's biggest fan, and the rival I beat for the Best Fan Art Award. To prove my innocence, I livestreamed the process of recreating the figure's 3D model on the spot and dug up design discussions I'd had with the original creator three years earlier. I then turned the tables on Jiang Wang, the White Moon Society's president, exposing him for stealing my early drafts. And so began the little story of the group of us.
