When a monster assembled from twisted limbs crawls out of an abandoned hospital, and a black-clad adjudicator fights a bloody battle to protect him, Lin Shen realizes he has become caught up in a conspiracy spanning twenty years. Twenty years ago, a forbidden experiment at Jiangcheng's underground research facility attempted to open a passage through fate using the Observer's Eye.
