The Starry Heavens Mending the Sky

In 2216, the Western Spirit Realm issues a “Zero Element Export Ban,” a cosmic noose that instantly tightens around Earth’s technological lifeline. The cutoff of this chip substrate material cripples the global space elevator network, while red alerts tear across the horizon. As the technological iron curtain of the “Spirit Net Wall” descends, the UN Secretary-General summons cryptography prodigy Lei Ruyi. The encrypted messages she deciphers point to the Western Spirit Realm’s secretly held “Stardust Corridor” mineral lode, setting the stage for a bloody breakout.

Warrior Chu Xiangfang cuts off his own right arm during an ambush in the asteroid belt, only to have the “Nüwa Chip” implanted in him when he storms the mineral lode. Quantum fiber optics extending from his spine transform him into a living data terminal capable of decoding star charts. On the moon, scientist Liu Lianwang cultivates “Xirang” microbes that break down interstellar dust, while Lei Ruyi uses quantum financial warfare to trigger a financial meltdown in the Western Spirit Realm. But the backlash of technology is never far behind: Chu Xiangfang’s consciousness is being eroded by a nanovirus, the lunar Xirang farm runs amok, and silicon-based vines spread like a green plague through the space station. His body becomes a “living weapon” coveted by both sides.

When Chu Xiangfang’s consciousness merges with twelve satellites to form a circular celestial chain, shattered armor fragments cast broken shadows of a human figure across low Earth orbit. “I am not a weapon. I am a beacon.” Meanwhile, the Western Spirit Realm destroys itself after being ravaged by genetic viruses and star locust eggs. Thanks to the ancient “Cangxuan Code,” humanity gains immunity. After capturing the trade hub, Earth’s people enact the Charter of the Starry Firmament, declaring that all technological achievements belong to the community of intelligent life in the universe. Beneath the Martian ice, a star chart crystal formed by silicon-based vines slowly turns. At the end of the Sky Mending Project, the dawn of a new civilization is beginning to emerge.
