Age of Gods and Demons: Phantom of the Demon God

“The price of awakening the power of gods and demons is for the beauty mark beneath your left eye to become a devil’s brand!”

Lu Fan, an orphan from Lanxing, awakens the Demon God: Phantom mech when he is cornered by Star-Devouring Bugs, only to discover that this mech is a “relic” left behind when the Twelve Star Gods and the demons perished together. As he swings his twin light swords to foil the Shadow Assassins’ conspiracy, clashes with monsters in a lava duel at the volcanoes of Yanxing, and watches the beauty mark beneath his left eye grow with his power, he gradually realizes that the blood flowing through his veins is not simply that of gods and demons. He carries the genes of a “Harmonizer” powerful enough to overturn an entire era.

The pilots of the twelve Star God mechs see him as a threat, while the monsters in the twelve Dark Hive Nests see him as prey. Lu Fan can only stand alongside his one-armed brother Lin Yuan and the blind strategist Su Yao, paying a terrible price in every battle fought amid the roar of their mechs: torn nerves, lost memories, and even severing his dearest friend’s prosthetic limb with his own hands. When he sees fragments of a memory on the abyss of Mingxing, showing his mother hunted by a Star God, and the Demon God: Phantom splits into halves of light and darkness during the final battle, Lu Fan finally roars out the truth of the era: “The so-called Star Gods are nothing but demons who won!”
