A Haunted-House Sleep Tester? No, I'm Renovating a School-District Apartment

Lin Zheng, a haunted-house sleep tester, has inherited the Family Home Renovation Manual.

At midnight, a phone rings with a chilling tone. He answers: “Hello! For haunted-house renovations, call Family Home. We’ve been driving out ghosts for thirty years.”

A red-clad female ghost hangs upside down from the ceiling, blood dripping from her. He takes a photo and sends it to the client: “The ceiling is leaking badly. I recommend tearing it out and replacing it.”

A hundred-year-old vengeful ghost crawls out of the TV. He grabs a power drill: “We’ll drill through the load-bearing wall and install an exhaust pipe to improve ventilation and get rid of the smell.”

When the Ghost King leads ten thousand ghosts in an attack on the city, Lin Zheng pulls out his ancestral toolbox.

He carves exorcism charms with an impact drill, seals the gates of the underworld with cement, and has carved the word “Demolish” into his peachwood sword.

“Family Home: giving every vengeful ghost a place in a top school district.”
