Any Good Angst Novels?

I'm looking for books like She Stopped Humoring Him. Nothing brainless. Ideally, there should be some buildup, like in When the Rivers Run Clear and the Seas Are Calm. I can handle any amount of angst, so bring it on!!! No fanfiction, please. Thanks.
