A Survival Manual for the Gluttonous Saintess in the Apocalypse

[Microgram + Original + Single Protagonist + Vast Worldbuilding + Faux Infinite Flow + Growth]

Black fog presses down on the city, and ruins rise everywhere.

Within the city, human nature twists and rots under the corrosion of supernatural powers;

beyond its walls, the roars of mutated beasts shatter the last glimmers of civilization.

This is a world imprisoned in a double cage:

the city is a cage for monsters, and the world is a cage for every living thing.

When the supernatural descends and tears apart the boundary between humans and other beings, the very definition of “human” becomes an absurd joke.

As demi-humans are torn back and forth between madness and reason, will the last glimmer of humanity finally go out?

Some believe that “flesh is weak,” surrendering their bodies to cold machines in the hope of finding meaning in steel once more.

Others embrace mutation, chasing greater power through genetic changes, only to become the very monsters they once feared.

Is this the inevitable evolution of life, or the utter downfall of human civilization?

A bewildered young woman stands amid the ruins, watching those around her succumb, resist, or mutate.

She has no ambition to save the world. Her only wish is to “stay alive”:

even if she must hide the warmth of her humanity, even if she must dance with monsters, even if she eventually becomes a “monster” beyond recognition herself.

In this land of despair, she will struggle and grow in the narrow space between humanity and mutation, searching for a way to survive amid the clash of machinery and flesh.

When the truth hidden deep within the black fog slowly comes to light, she finally understands: a cage is not merely the darkness outside, but also the shackles surrounding every living thing's innermost sense of “existence.”
