Synopsis

Wu Hao, commander of a Special Forces unit, is accidentally transmigrated to Nanjing in December 1937. The Battle of Nanjing is nearing its end, the Japanese army is attacking relentlessly, and the Nationalist defense lines are on the verge of collapse. Wu Hao discovers that he has transmigrated into the body of Xiao Yuanzhi, a company commander in the 302nd Regiment of the 88th Division of the National Revolutionary Army. He has only a few dozen battered soldiers left under his command, while outside the city, Japanese boots are marching toward this ancient capital, and a massacre is about to begin…

“Since you little devils have come, don’t expect to leave alive!”

Drawing on his modern military training and unyielding resolve, he quickly rallies the broken troops and launches a furious hunt through Nanjing, using street fighting, ambushes, psychological warfare, and other tactics. He takes no prisoners and leaves no survivors. Every bullet and every bayonet is there to make the Japanese pay for their bloodshed!

“Kill! Kill every last one of these beasts!”

From Zhonghua Gate to Yijiang Gate, from Xiakufu Mountain to Yangzhou, he leads a band of routed Nationalist soldiers and civilians who have taken up the fight on their own. He even recruits scattered stragglers, forming a “Blade of Vengeance” that appears and vanishes across Japanese-occupied territory, leaving the Japanese to live in a nightmare!

Fighting his way out of desperate situations, he aims not only to rescue more of his countrymen, but to make the Japanese understand that invaders who set foot on Chinese soil are destined to become fertilizer for this land!

“Blood debts must be repaid in blood!”

“This land is not your graveyard. It is your hell!”

War of Resistance Stories That Aren't About Fighting on the Front Lines, but About Doing What Little You Can

I don't want stories about fighting on the front lines. A System is fine, but nothing too powerful. The protagonist can help the country, but shouldn't play a decisive role. No tanks, planes, or anything like that.
