Modern semiconductor engineer Li Meng unexpectedly transmigrates into Teyvat, becoming a young agricultural expert in Liyue and getting trapped inside the gigantic folded space created by the adepti, the Serenitea Pot. Teyvat is now being consumed by the abyssal forces of the apocalypse. This “ark of civilization,” home to survivors from all seven nations, is running out of resources, and its elemental forces are in chaos. Keqing, Yuheng of Liyue, is already serving as a key member of the Seven Stars' Emergency Committee, coordinating the response and working tirelessly to protect the survivors and the spark of civilization.

Armed with a practical engineer's mindset and a mysterious modern agricultural knowledge base in his head, Li Meng struggles to survive on this barren land, soon drawing Keqing's attention. The decisive Yuheng quickly recognizes his value, designating research such as “Red Ear Dual-Resistant No. 3” corn as a strategic resource and becoming an important source of support in Li Meng's early exploration and breakthroughs.

Later, Li Meng meets Jing Yi, a frail Liyue scholar who remains steadfast in protecting the spark of civilization. He improves disaster-resistant crops, designs elemental machinery, and tackles infrastructure challenges; she restores ancient books, passes on knowledge, and safeguards the memories of civilization. Meanwhile, Keqing uses an iron fist to stabilize order and coordinate Operation “Sharpen the Edge.” Together, the three of them and the survivors from all seven nations join forces.

Together, they improve the soil, build windmills, lay electro-rails, develop weapons, cultivate new crops, and establish order within the Serenitea Pot. They must battle the abyssal tide closing in from outside, defuse conflicts caused by dwindling resources and mysterious threats within, and, under Keqing's leadership, combine technological thinking with the laws of the elements to find a way for civilization to survive.
