In modern China, a group of officials from the Qing Dynasty who were concerned about the country and the people established the Chinese Merchant House. On the surface, they were conducting trade throughout Asia. In fact, they provided military intelligence one after another for the famous Qing generals who served the country and the people, and helped the Qing Dynasty win a few battles. After the war between China and France, they finally gained private recognition from the Qing Dynasty and privately changed their name to Qing Shi Tong.
