Seven days of snow and ice, a world-covering chill. The Ice Princess’s despairing curse of frost is humanity’s final warning against destroying nature, but it is also a funeral bell that awakens the ancient sleeper.
Gui Xu, ruler of all things and mother of the laws. Her silver eyes reflect the rise and fall of eras, while her delicate hands uphold the source of the world. She awakens from the “Realm of Gui Xu.” Her gaze pierces the snow and ice, seeing only a land ravaged by humanity’s greed. The mountains and rivers weep, the spiritual veins run dry, and the laws, thrown out of balance, slide toward the abyss of collapse. In her eyes, humans are not living beings, but “tumors” eating away at the foundations of the world. Beneath her indifference lies a cold judgment on the fate of civilization: purification, or erasure.
The Ye Luoli Warriors shiver in the cold snap, guarding a tiny spark of hope. Wang Mo’s fiery compassion is as faint as a firefly beneath Gui Xu’s absolute divine majesty. Queen Mandora glimpses an opportunity and seeks to borrow the ruler’s power to burn away humanity and ascend to the highest throne. As the laws ring with the sound of breaking, the Spirit Rhinoceros Pavilion struggles in vain to hold together the tottering old order.
This is a battle in which ants seek to prove their way before the gods.
When the light of “purification” sweeps across the edge of the fairy realm, leaving scars of utter desolation;
when the forbidden power of the abyss roars in Mandora’s hands, seeking to devour the source of all things;
when the world cries out in agony as its laws disintegrate...
Bearing humanity’s sins and its faint glimmer of hope, the Ye Luoli Warriors set out on a path of redemption where they must face death to survive. They must venture into the desperate heart of the world and confront the loneliness and burden borne by the ruler of all things, seeking a sliver of possibility for “coexistence” amid an absolute will to destroy.
What choice will Gui Xu ultimately make?
