The story is set in the fictional Dasheng Dynasty, where the emperor centralized power and the harem was closely related to the previous dynasty. The aristocratic mansions in the capital are hierarchical, and there are undercurrents of internal feuding. At the same time, the Dasheng Dynasty has business and cultural exchanges with neighboring countries such as the Li Kingdom and the Japanese Islands in the east, as well as exotic countries in the west and southern hemisphere, laying the groundwork for the protagonist's subsequent "educational layout."
