Yan Qingyu, the young owner of an antique shop, unexpectedly inherits her grandmother's Tea Bond Register and discovers she can summon little spirits from the Classic of Mountains and Seas with the fragrance of tea. When she meets Yun Shoubai, a firefighter who keeps stopping by for tea, the two are gradually drawn into a struggle to maintain the balance between spirits in the modern city.
