Detective Conan: The Childhood Friend of Genius in the Black Organization

(No System, no transmigration into a book, original characters, one heroine, no breaking up the established couple, mostly slice of life)

My name is Yuzumi Yuma. I grew up in the Organization, and at sixteen I earned the codename Port. My colleagues call me one of the Organization's Gemini.

My parents died in a laboratory explosion before I was old enough to remember them. Fortunately, they were very close to the Miyano couple. After the accident, Akemi raised Shiho and me on her own. We gradually sensed there was more to the explosion than met the eye. Grief-stricken, we grew to hate the Organization's ways: living in darkness while longing for the light.

My childhood friend, Shiho Miyano, is the Organization's genius scientist and the other half of its Gemini. She's like a ray of light, just like her codename, Sherry: sunshine bottled up. Even though she seems as fragile as glass, the light inside her always warms me. If I'm going to get them out of the Organization, I have to climb higher!

But just when everything seemed to be getting clearer, Akemi died, and Shiho vanished, her fate unknown. The light in my life... seemed to disappear…
