The story begins with a bizarre murder on a rain-lashed night in Hong Kong. While investigating, Detective Lin Yu discovers a lightning-shaped triangular tattoo on the back of the victim’s neck, accidentally unearthing an international drug conspiracy that has been unfolding for a decade. As the investigation deepens, he and the victim’s younger sister, Shen Yue, become entangled with a mysterious organization called the “Eye of Time.” The group uses a new drug, “Dreamscape,” to manipulate people’s perception of time and create the illusion of immortality.
