A Passionate Kiss on the First Page of the Rulebook

A diary left by my late younger sister tore open the truth behind the avalanche twenty years ago.

An anonymous tip-off exposed my father's greed.

An unexpected new life became the sharpest knife aimed at love.

Lin Wan was a cautious little civil servant in the municipal Party committee's publicity department. Her only goal in life was to escape her father's shadow and make a quiet living with her own writing. Then she fell in love with the man who stood above the clouds, draped in glory: Shen Yu, the deputy director.

Everyone said Shen Yu was a model official: composed, disciplined, and destined for a brilliant future. Only Lin Wan saw the crease between his brows when stomach pain woke him in the dead of night. She heard him murmur the name "Shen Qing" in his sleep, and found the yellowed photograph of them in the snow tucked between the pages of his book.

"Is loving me a loss of control?" She traced the tooth marks on his lower lip. He held tight to the hand she had pressed against his stomach. "It's a glacier colliding with a shooting star. I'm willing to be shattered to pieces."

He was the only piece of driftwood she could cling to in her darkest hour, and the one who pushed her into the abyss. She was a faint light illuminating his dark past, and the most painful thorn in his heart. From suspicion to standing side by side, from resentment to protection, two broken souls clung to each other in the heart of a storm, along a road paved with blood and lies.

Between them lay sunlight, glass, and a heavy past neither could put into words.

Who was pulling the strings behind this deadly game? How horrifying was the truth behind Shen Qing's death? Would the bloodstained strip of film ultimately lead them to redemption, or destroy them completely?

Watch fragility spread its wings in the storm, and devotion set the wilderness ablaze in the darkest hour. Even in the deepest abyss, a flower of redemption can bloom.
