After Donating Blood for Twenty Years, I Found It Dumped into a Sewage Barrel

In my twentieth year of donating blood for free, I was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award as a representative.

But when my name appeared on the big screen, the crowd erupted. The grateful looks from the audience instantly turned to anger.

The pregnant woman whose life had once been saved by the 1,000 cc of blood I gave her viciously drove a needle into her vein and began drawing blood, snarling:

"Having the blood of someone like you in my body makes me sick!"

The organizers hurried onto the stage to restore order, but when they saw my name, they were struck as if by lightning. They immediately contacted the hospital and had all the blood I'd donated taken out and poured into a wastewater bucket.

I was stunned. Only then did I learn that word had spread everywhere that I was a rapist.

But I hadn't done anything. How had things suddenly turned out like this?
