Lin Yuchuan held a rose and smiled at Su Wan from across the road.
She watched him get sent flying by a car as rose petals scattered through the air around him.
Outside the operating room, his mother handed her a check. “I've seen plenty of girls like you.”
“Take the money and get lost, or watch him die. I'd rather he die than have a son like you.”
Five years later, Su Wan was seeing the kindergarten children off.
One child ran into a man's arms. “Daddy!”
Lin Yuchuan picked up the child, his gaze icy. “Teacher Su, long time no see.”
The coldness in his eyes made Su Wan's heart ache.
The man she had loved five years ago had personally signed his own do-not-resuscitate order. When they met again, she was already married with a child.
“Five years apart, and the first thing you say is to send me away?”
“Divorce him and come to me.”
“You think I'll give you another chance to leave me?”
Sorry, this story really is painfully, ridiculously cheesy, but lately I've really wanted to read this kind of thing. There just isn't anything to read, so I'm making my own.
