Timothy has known since childhood that he had a friend by his side whom he could neither see nor touch.
He looked things up and concluded that it might be a guardian spirit, a curse, a hallucination, an angel or demon, or one of the nature spirits from Eastern legends. The kind of spirit bound to someone from childhood to keep them safe... Ah! He'd got it! A ghost marriage!
Could that be what was happening to him?
When he asked his parents, they told him that he'd often been sick as a child. They'd taken him to countless hospitals, run every test, and given him all sorts of medicine, but nothing helped. They'd even consulted various so-called experts, some genuine and some not, without seeing any improvement.
Eventually, someone referred them to Chinatown. They learned about this method there, and, desperate enough to try anything, asked the master to perform the ritual.
Unexpectedly, after that, their child became much healthier. From then on, they kept the spirit tablet enshrined at all times.
They asked the old master about the person on the tablet. He said that the person had been reborn with immense fortune, but lacked the fate to contain it. The young master's birth chart was compatible with his, so they had been joined in a ghost marriage.

Young Tim, already remarkably clever, finally saw his husband.
He wore a red wedding robe, his hands were pale and elegant, and though his face was covered, it was clear he wore no makeup. He was every bit the peerless young gentleman.
The man, cold as ice, scooped him up. With a few turns, he knocked the gang of thugs unconscious. Tim only clutched his sleeve, watching his pursed lips.
...Then, in the end, he kissed Tim on the forehead.
[A collection of loosely connected episodes. I'm terrible at writing blurbs and even worse at romance, and little Tim is still just a child.]
The author writes very well!!! Come on!!!
