The story begins when an [E00-Primordial] experimental specimen goes missing from the New Era Biotechnology Company. A global epidemic, triggered by a large-scale bird migration, infects tens of millions of people. The disease spreads easily and kills quickly. As the virus mutates, the dead miraculously regain the ability to move once their brains are completely taken over. But by then, they are no longer human, but bloodthirsty beasts.
