When A Qing first arrives in Pear Blossom Village, he notices that Village Chief Wang Fugui is mishandling his duties and the town officials are shirking theirs. He resolves to bring about change. He begins by investigating the disappearance of poverty-alleviation sheep, and unexpectedly discovers loopholes in the Z-rank official system. He then creates an “Electronic Public Sentiment Log,” winning the villagers’ trust. While gathering clues, he receives an anonymous warning, but an old accountant secretly lends him a hand. When the inspection team arrives, A Qing uses location data from a smart wristband to expose Wang Fugui’s lies, while also revealing the absurdity of the town’s “rank-based reception” practices. In the end, the old system is abolished and the “dynamic evaluation mechanism” proposed by A Qing is put into effect. Through this reform, he not only rises from Z-rank to A-rank, but also wins the villagers’ wholehearted support through his actions.
