The Days I Kept Myself Alive by Coughing Up Blood for Comments

Xiao Jin died.

Then he learned that his world was a hot-blooded space opera manga, and that he was a nameless cannon fodder character who died in the opening chapter.

To make matters worse, he was bound to the “Popularity Life-Support System.”

Survival condition: Popularity > 0.

How to gain it: Trigger intense emotional reactions in the manga’s readers.

To stay alive, he performed a “tragedy” on the edge of a blade every single day, just to earn the [+1 Popularity] that scrolled past in the comments and keep himself alive a little longer.

Clutching his shattered remains, which he called “Ashes,” and surrounded by readers’ cries of [Comments as Shield], he coughed up blood, broke the shackles on his supernatural abilities, and calmed the space-time storm that belonged to him with his bare hands.

All just to buy himself another countdown to survival: [+1 Popularity].
