Room 402, North Building

Zhang Yueying, a girl living alone, moves into Room 402 of a run-down old building in the northern suburbs. Before long, the neighbors in the entire building start moving out one after another.

A strange character meaning “toward” is found by the door. Once the clutter in the hallway is cleared away, hurried words are revealed on the wall: “Help me.”

More terrifying still, Xiao Qi, the coworker who walks her home every night, suddenly turns on her one evening...

As police academy student Li Senyang gradually uncovers the truth, they discover that Room 402 was once the “execution room” of an underground casino. That symbol was the casino's death code for marking its “prey.”
