Liu Bei (161-223), courtesy name Xuande, was a native of Zhuojun. He was a famous politician and military strategist in the late Eastern Han Dynasty of China and the founding emperor of the Shu Han Dynasty. In the name of his benevolence, he was widely loved by the people, devoted himself to restoring the Han Dynasty, and established the Shu Han regime. Liu Bei's life is full of legend. His deeds are particularly vividly depicted in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and have become a model for later generations to praise.
