The Decree of Fate

In ancient times, the gods reigned high in the Ninth Heaven, treating the mortal world as their pasture. They fed on the faith of the people and greedily devoured the “fortune” that sustained humanity's rise and fall. Enraged, Emperor Zhuanxu swung his sword and severed the ladder between Heaven and Earth, cutting off all contact between the realms and sealing the gods beyond the heavens. This won humanity a chance to catch its breath. But centuries passed, and Earth's spiritual energy suddenly resurged. The sealed passage was about to open once more, and the gods again turned their greedy gaze upon the mortal world.

As divine might nears its return and the shadow of enslavement falls across the land, the ordinary Ji Fan faces the gods of the heavens, who are about to break the barrier between Heaven and Earth and once again dominate humanity and devour its fortune. Ji Fan has no choice.

In a mortal body, he will rally humanity's awakened forces and ignite the flames of rebellion! This time, the mortal world will not repeat the mistakes of the past! If the barrier between Heaven and Earth is broken, then humanity will build another road to storm the Heavenly Court, with its own flesh and blood!
