This is the first novel I've written. I hope you'll be understanding, and thank you for reading ❤️❤️❤️
The night I took over the restoration of Qiyuan, a hundred-year-old haunted house, I came face-to-face with a handsome ghost in a long gown.
He said his name was Duan Linchuan, and that he died by poisoning in 1925.
But when I dug up a bloodstained marriage certificate in the basement,
the groom was him, and the date was three days after his death.
The Duan family warned me: He's lying. Run!
But he gripped my hand tightly, a century of loneliness surging in his eyes:
"Sang Ning, this blood pact needs a living bride to keep me alive...
And your name was written beside mine back in the Republic of China era."
Evil spirits gnaw at living souls in the darkness, while the yellowed marriage contract burns against my palm.
When the chains in Qiyuan's dungeon rattle once more,
should I trust the living man's blade, or the ghost's kiss?
