Exile in the Starlight

In 2650, the news that the Sun would undergo a premature helium flash tore Earth apart. To preserve civilization, the world secretly launched the Seed Project: a million human embryos and six thousand genetically enhanced “guardians” were sent aboard the starship Ark, bound for the unknown planet XC-12, ten light-years away. As the last guardian, the young Su Feng must not only survive the brutal struggle for the right to live aboard the ship as it flees the collapsing solar system, but also face the threat of alien civilizations and the flames of interstellar war in the vast depths of space. When the Ark finally touches upon the universe's deepest mysteries, a dialogue with a mysterious advanced civilization will reveal the ultimate truth behind humanity's survival. Can a faint spark rekindle in the boundless abyss of darkness?
