A Scheme Within a Scheme at the Drinking Table

In my three years as a planning director, I kept track of the numbers: 237 business drinking parties, 182 bottles of Moutai and 317 bottles of Wuliangye, and 5,000 broken promises of "Let's get together another day" and "You can count on me."

People say I'm just a drinking-party tool, but they didn't see what Old Zheng wiped with his sleeve when he got drunk and threw up in the restroom. It wasn't his mouth, but the "competitor partnership letter of intent" tucked inside his suit jacket.
