Anime Crossover: The Moment She Saw the Grim Reaper

(The story will eventually cover the Thousand-Year Blood War.)

(The original plot of Mieruko-chan has been heavily altered in places, since this is a crossover.)

My name is Yamamoto Yanagi. Years ago, my soul transmigrated into Rukongai. Through my own hard work, I graduated from the Shin'o Academy step by step and became a seated officer in a support squad of the Soul Reapers.

Although I’ve already mastered Bankai, the main story hasn’t begun yet, since the great villain Aizen-sama hasn’t turned traitor. I’ve decided to avoid drawing attention and quietly build up my strength.

Just as I was fantasizing about kicking Aizen, punching Ichigo, and tearing Yhwach apart with my bare hands, an ordinary mission to support the human world landed me in a strange place... What a hassle...

Wait, is that little girl staring at me in terror...? It must be my imagination. I’m a spirit, after all...

Hold on, can she actually see me?

(The synopsis isn’t doing this story justice. Please read the novel.)
