[A Protagonist Who Dies from the Start] [A Corporate Wage Slave Transmigrates Across the Heavens] [Quiet Days Off and Perilous Field Missions] [A Heroine Who Exists Only in Memories] [A Variety of Worlds, Including Biochemical Cultivation, Magic, and Real History]
That year, in order to bring his beloved wife back to life, Chen Tianshui, a deceased swordsman from the Southern Song dynasty, became a miserable wage slave. He ventured into seas of corpses and immortals, screening a hundred protagonists for the unscrupulous Heavenly Dao. Just as he was celebrating, he fell into a trap in his contract.
That year, after living through two lifetimes, he racked his brains to win the heart of his beloved, only for the unscrupulous Heavenly Dao to demand that he work overtime while pursuing her. The Heavenly Dao made a fortune, while he remained a bachelor.
Another year passed. Lu Wuxing, the rookie he had personally trained, had women on both arms and was enjoying the blessings of a life at its peak. Meanwhile, after saving various worlds, Chen Tianshui still had to turn around and visit his beloved wife's reincarnation. "As long as I know she's happy, that's enough for me."
One day, as Chen Tianshui was picking cotton, he looked at the white master in the cotton plantation and shouted, "Wait, what the heck is a Slave Owner System!"
Hmm... As one of the first few books I read on Tomato... It's pretty good. The plot is quite remarkable, and I think the setting is quite sophisticated. It's quite enjoyable. The main reason is that everyone feels like a dead person, so there should be a lot to describe as a side story. Just looking at the introduction, it seems that Wei Yuxuan was not resurrected in the end. Overall, it's passable, but it's a bit slower than some of the works on the list. I'll give it a five-point rating and check it out when there are updates.
