On her birthday, the well-known suspense screenwriter Chu Jiulin received a watch personally sent by the popular movie star Pei Zhouyan, who plays the male protagonist in her play. From that day on, she began to have frequent strange dreams. In her dreams, there was always a man calling "Ruyan" repeatedly, but she could never see his face clearly.
By chance, Chu Jiulin discovered that this watch had the magical power to travel through time and space, and could take her back to the Republic of China a hundred years ago.
