This Woman Is No Ordinary One

[Two equally strong leads + both inexperienced in love + intense romantic tension + old-money CEO] Xu Jiawei, Kyoto’s most formidable beauty of a lawyer, takes on courtroom opponents by day and charges into danger in a rescue team uniform by night. Sharp-tongued and tough, she lives by one rule: if you get on my nerves, I’ll give it right back to you. After all, there are 365 days in a year, so why should she put up with anyone? Her life goals are crystal clear: make money, build her career, and retire surrounded by handsome young men! But who could have guessed that a vacation would lead her straight into the arms of her destined one? The first time she meets Gong Chenli at a riding club, his friend opens his mouth and starts making lewd remarks. She tears into him until his face turns green, cursing inwardly: Another bunch of brainless rich brats! The second time, they run into each other by chance at a bar. She’s just walking along when he accidentally hurts her. Xu Jiawei is furious: This man is a walking disaster! The third time is even more outrageous. He corners her and confesses outright? She bolts: Has he lost his mind? She plans to avoid this old-money CEO completely, but the more she runs, the more he clings to her. As they spend time together, she discovers that beneath his refined, aloof exterior, he spoils her rotten. When floods strike, this pampered man rushes to the front lines to gather supplies. Covered in mud, his eyes still shine, and he completely wins her heart. Fine, then. She’ll give dating him a try. But whenever marriage comes up, Xu Jiawei finds an excuse to slip away. Until one day, Gong Chenli corners her against a wall. The usually lofty CEO’s eyes are red, and his voice is hoarse and plaintive. “Xu Jiawei, I want to marry you. Do you want me or not?” She smiles, reaches out, and ruffles his hair. “Be good. I’ll think about it a little longer~”
