I came across this book by chance and read the entire book at 11:59. I was really shocked. I feel like my eyes will be swollen when I wake up tomorrow. I have read an evaluation about Wu Zetian's male favorite, and nine out of ten reviews were critical.
Sometimes I really feel that we only rely on unearthed history thousands of years ago and it is unfair to our ancestors to borrow it from other people's hands. The story of Princess Taiping and Shangguan Wan'er has been misunderstood by the world for thousands of years. This is also the case with other ancestors. History is written by the victors, and time is a cover-up.
I originally felt sad and wronged about it. What the author wrote made me feel differently about our ancestors being misunderstood by the world. Regardless of whether the world knows the truth or not, the ancestors themselves know it, and that is enough!
This book is what I think is the best book about Wu Zetian that I have seen so far.
I wish the author better and better!
I cried so hard for four hours in the middle of the night. I also want to write stories about that era in my lifetime.
