I'm not very good at writing synopses.
Here's the synopsis:
The protagonist exorcises demons and upholds justice, only to discover that he himself is the Great Demon King, the reincarnation of the Asura King.
Just when he finally manages to accept reality and decides to change his fate, a parallel world suddenly appears.
Because of the Pillar of Time and a whole bunch of other complicated reasons, the two timelines briefly converge during the celestial phenomenon known as the "Sun and Moon Eclipsing Each Other." Cause and effect loop between the two worlds, and the fate of each world's version of himself repeats again and again.
The parallel world is populated entirely by the various demons and monsters he subdued over the past 900 years, but his other self in that world can't kill them.
He's had enough! So he simply swaps places with the protagonist.
The protagonist enters the parallel world to take part in "Metamorphosis," personally writing a new script, rewriting cause and effect, breaking the fated cycle linking the two worlds, and completely changing the characters' destinies...
Also, this book is about urban superpowers! Urban superpowers! Urban superpowers!!!
It's not a ghost-hunting story, not a ghost-hunting story, not a ghost... hunting... story...
