Xiao Zhan: Life Under the Watchful Eye of a Top-Tier Star

In the flashy, cutthroat entertainment industry, top-tier star Xiao Zhan shines brightly, blessed with both stunning looks and superb acting skills. He has so many fans they could circle the Earth several times. Jin Nuoxi, a little-known makeup artist, is like a tiny speck in comparison, working hard in the industry while holding on to her dream of becoming a makeup artist.

One day, the production crew suddenly calls Jin Nuoxi in to do Xiao Zhan's makeup. Her hands tremble with nerves as she looks at his handsome face and thinks, “He's so good-looking. I hope I don't ruin his face.” But then she accidentally smacks a powder puff right onto his nose, turning him into a “white-nosed clown” and making everyone around them burst out laughing.

From then on, Xiao Zhan loves teasing Jin Nuoxi. He deliberately makes faces while she's doing his makeup, making her stamp her feet in exasperation. “Keep moving around and I'll turn you into a walking rainbow!” But Xiao Zhan thinks her flustered reactions are absolutely adorable.

As they spend more time together, they fall for each other. But trouble soon follows. Xiao Zhan's fans watch them like hawks and refuse to let their beloved idol date anyone. The waves of disapproval batter Jin Nuoxi like a storm, leaving her panicked and wondering if she should slip away quietly.

Xiao Zhan won't hear of it. He goes into overprotective-boyfriend mode and makes a high-profile announcement: “She's my makeup artist, and she's mine.”
