Years Recounted, River Stilled

[Youthful school romance + two top students + love grows over time]

[Independent, courageous girl × sunny, gentle campus heartthrob] [A touch of ensemble cast]

After Zhou Shu and her best friend had a “McDonald’s meal deal” at the gym the day before, Zhou Shu was late on the first day of her second year of high school. So was Cheng Jiangzhi, the top student who beat her in every exam.

Staring at that unfairly handsome face, Zhou Shu, the perennial runner-up, is fired up. This semester, she’s determined to surpass Cheng Jiangzhi.

But when she takes the last empty seat in the classroom and looks up, she finds Cheng Jiangzhi sitting beside her!

During introductions, she privately thinks he’s all show. Then, at the school sports meet, Cheng Jiangzhi carries her to the infirmary.

As one thing leads to another, the two promise to work toward going to Jing City together. But Zhou Shu seems about to break her promise.
