Saniwa have gone missing from many citadels under the Time Government, leaving their citadels abandoned. Some citadels have fled to evade the Time Government’s pursuit and search for the truth. One dark citadel, on the verge of losing all its spiritual energy, rescues a creator from Shenzhou.

The creator of a virtual little world, Yi Ying, is accompanied by her support System, Youyou. After the two are attacked by the Time Retrograde Army, the System falls dormant. As Yi Ying loses her strength and tumbles into a rift in space-time, a sword spirit rescues her.

With the memories of her past life, Yi Ying knows better than anyone that every player’s game data is different. She gradually notices that the sword spirits in this citadel are far too clingy. Even stranger, this dark citadel feels eerily similar to the one in her game. Her spiritual energy once kept Youyou alive, but it split apart. She has always been suspicious, yet has no proof. By the middle of the story, the darkened swords sense a familiar fluctuation of spiritual energy.

Mikazuki (suspicious, turning dark): “You seem to know this citadel very well. Did you remember us and decide you didn’t want to acknowledge us?”

Higekiri (darkened, threatening): “Our master, who abandoned us? Are you really so heartless that you’d leave us again?”

She never believed her own citadel could exist, let alone be darkened. Seeing these swords makes their dark corruption lessen, but she discovers that the whole citadel is in an even more sinister state. Only then does she realize this isn’t dark corruption: they’re weapons of war, transformed by a scum Saniwa who exploited the backlash of dark corruption… Unable to bear their clinginess, she prepares to leave, only to be told the truth.
