Insults Make Me Stronger: From the Start, the Whole Internet Beats Me to a Pulp!

Later chapters: [Journey to the West in the early part, Primordial World in the later part]

What’s it like to transmigrate into the world of Journey to the West and become Sun Wukong’s senior disciple?

My name is Lin Jie, and my experience can be summed up in one word: exhausting.

I just wanted to be a lazy fish, lying low on Fangcun Mountain. After all, my System said that if I did absolutely nothing and lay low until the end of the Journey to the West calamity, I’d become a saint outright! Where else could you find a deal like that?

So for a thousand years, I drank tea, fished, and petted monkeys every day, just waiting to lie flat and become a saint.

But what happened? My junior disciple Sun Wukong had barely left the mountain when the Tathagata crushed him beneath Five Finger Mountain!

At that moment, the System popped up and asked me:

[Choice One: Keep lying low and become a saint right away!]

[Choice Two: Save your junior brother. Lose a thousand years of cultivation and sever your bond with the System!]

I looked into the water mirror. The monkey was pinned down, blood pouring from all seven orifices, and he was still shouting, “Senior Brother, save me!”

I flew into a rage and cursed at the air: “Bah! Who wants to be this lousy saint? Anyone who lays a hand on my junior brother, even the Jade Emperor himself, is going down!”

The next second, I tore up the System and shattered Five Finger Mountain with one slap.

In front of all the gods and Buddhas in the heavens, I helped Wukong to his feet and told them:

“Listen up. You can go to the Western Heaven to fetch the scriptures, but I make the rules!”

“First, that golden headband is gone.” I crushed it to powder on the spot.

“Second, any monster we meet along the way, whether it’s someone’s mount or attendant, is fair game if my junior brother kills it! Anyone who tries to settle the score afterward will have their mountain flattened!”

“Third, my junior brother is going to fetch scriptures, not be anyone’s dog. He can go when he wants and rest when he wants. None of you are forcing him to do a thing!”
