A small landowner's dream of joining the army
Huang Meng, a poor college student, was interning in a Fortune 500 Internet company in his junior year. On his way back from the night shift, he was accidentally robbed and died. When he opened his eyes again, he turned out to be Huang Shude, a landowner from a small town in Yuexi, China. Waking up in the Huang Family Ancestral Hall, China was in turmoil in 1966. But Fu Xianliang also joined the army not long ago and was only a squad leader, and was not yet qualified to join the army. Huang Shude went from a landowner lady to a soldier's wife. She will work with Fu Xianliang to write a different life in the turbulent years, and explore their happiness and peace amidst war and hardship.
