A scatterbrained girl versus a cool-headed top student: a sweet, school-life version of cat and mouse, with sweetness off the charts!
Lively Lin Xiaoxia is a walking source of laughs. She either spills her breakfast milk all over the top student's textbook or trips over the principal's microphone cable during the flag-raising ceremony. Then one day, she crashes into Lu Chenzhou, the school's famous “Iceberg Top Student,” and begins an endless cycle of getting into trouble, being rescued, and getting into trouble again.
Though Lu Chenzhou seems cold as ice, he's actually a brooding, sharp-tongued guy with a little commentary theater hidden inside him. He uses formula sheets to mark key points for Lin Xiaoxia, then, when she splashes ink on his white shirt, remarks dryly, “Lin Xiaoxia, you must be using all three of Newton's laws to figure out how to get into trouble with such precision.”
From “note-passing rescues” in math class to “ink battles” in calligraphy club, from a relay-race disaster at the school sports meet to a “stepped-on-skirt incident” at the Christmas dance, their feelings quietly grow amid their chaotic daily lives. When Lin Xiaoxia discovers the wrapper from the fruit candy she gave Lu Chenzhou tucked inside his textbook, she finally realizes that all the sweetness of this cool-headed top student is hidden in the “accidents” she causes.
