Dragon's Roar in the Nine Heavens

The Xiao family of Qingyun City is holding its annual Martial Spirit Awakening Ceremony. The city's major clans have gathered, and the atmosphere is both festive and tense.

- Xiao Chen, the family head's son, is the last to appear, but awakens the lowest-grade Martial Spirit, a "Green Snake," prompting everyone to mock him.

- His father, Xiao Zhentian, can barely hide his disappointment. His second uncle, Xiao Li, seizes the chance to propose stripping Xiao Chen of his position as heir and appointing his own son, Xiao Tian, instead.

- That night, Xiao Chen discovers an antique dragon-shaped jade pendant in the back hills of the family forbidden grounds, accidentally awakening the ancient dragon soul sleeping within it.
