Also known as "Star River, Long Moon", this is a short story, so readers who mind that should proceed with caution.
Synopsis: Liu Liu is a genius scientist with no life skills whatsoever. Du Lin is a rising star in the business world, cool and composed on the surface, yet unable to forget her. When they reunite ten years later, he barges into her life with an investment agreement, complaining that she can't take care of herself while straightening her collar and making her breakfast.
"President Du, you take such good care of Dr. Liu."
"It's part of the contract." His expression never changes, but late into the night he searches auction houses around the world, all to buy back the out-of-print astronomy book she loved as a child.
When Liu Liu's company runs into trouble, he quietly clears a path for her. When she works herself into a faint, he carries her to the hospital in full view of everyone. Asked by the media about their relationship, he calmly replies, "Business partnership." Then he leans close and whispers in her ear, "This time, I won't break my promise again, Little Meteor."
