[Two Male Leads + Both Pure + Childhood Friends + Mutual Devotion + Equally Matched]
Lin Jingming’s friends carefully planned a special “24th birthday present” for him. Under the influence of alcohol, the genius painter Lin Jingming, shackled by his family’s expectations, and Chen Mo, his childhood friend and bartender who had always watched over him in silence, spent a delirious night together. The pain he felt upon waking ignited Lin Jingming’s fury and upended everything he had believed for over twenty years. He couldn’t accept that he had been the one on the bottom, much less face his complicated feelings for Chen Mo, which had long since gone beyond friendship. He tried to run, even blocking every way Chen Mo could contact him. Chen Mo responded with silence, drinking and smoking relentlessly until he pushed himself to the brink. Eventually, he was rushed to the hospital with acute bleeding from a gastric ulcer, his life hanging in the balance… After Lin Jingming refused an arranged marriage and was driven out of the Lin family, he finally realized that Chen Mo had been the only one quietly staying by his side and protecting him all along. At last, the two broke through the walls between them, chose each other, and found redemption in both their dreams and their love.
