If She Falls to the Dark, I’ll Fall with Her

The day I was taken in as a disciple by the Immortal Venerable, the whole village celebrated that the demonic energy had finally been sealed. No one knew that an ancient demonic artifact was locked inside me. The Immortal Venerable was aloof and noble, yet he doted on me like no other. Until the demons invaded and he caught me draining my fellow disciples of their spiritual power. His bloodstained sword pointed at my throat. “Wretched disciple, who are you really?” On the Heavenly Punishment Platform, eighty-one bolts of tribulation lightning struck down. He shielded me with his own body, his white robes drenched in blood. “If she falls to demonic corruption, I shall fall with her.” But a demon god’s low chuckle sounded within me. “My little vessel, we’ve finally met.”
