Insect and Immortal

The protagonist, Wen Xiang, is named after the film Scent of a Woman.

When the Heavenly Dao unleashes filth to destroy the world, Wen Xiang is drenched in it and dies, only to be reborn three years in the past with the “Insect Immortal” cultivation system.

With a second chance at life, he must develop in secret until he can defeat the various Immortals and use his insect body to attain the Great Dao.

Three years later, when the Heavenly Dao destroys the world, Wen Xiang reveals his true form, standing tall enough to support the heavens as he seals the rift, determined to challenge the Heavenly Dao to a showdown.
