"Rule One: Find out for yourself."
That is the first thing the System says to everyone who arrives here.
The first day has the fewest deaths.
Playing the game normally is allowed in this world.
But the System has stipulated that no one can die from the start.
A world with no parents.
"Don't you think everything here feels like an overly rotten feast?"
All the rules are fabricated by the System.
No one knows whether the previous rule is true.
Everyone was created by the System.
And people here age one year every three years.
Sixteen is the true age of adulthood.
I'm Kui. Or maybe I'm not.
The games here are more like a grand, never-ending fabrication.
No one knows how to leave.
But at least we can survive, can't we?
Who would comfort themselves like that?
The ones who have no choice but to stay here?
"What about you?"
The answer to that question about me was a long silence.
"Welcome to this game. I'm your host, Kui."
A long partnership, a false identity.
The System never tells anyone the truth.
The colors here don't represent hope. They're more like a sudden shock.
Do I look like someone who tells the truth?
If I don't, good. If you'd believed me, you should have survived.
I forgot to add the rest: you won't survive even if you don't believe me.
Because I have to survive.

This world holds various games every year and selects some of the players to become game hosts.
