My Deskmate Is a Little Too Loud

Also known as: The Underachievers

He chases! He runs! Give him wings and he’ll fly!

The year they were split into classes in their second year of high school, Qingyang No. 7 High adopted an academic streaming system. Top students were placed in Classes One and Two, average students in Classes Three and Four, and underachievers in Class Five.

Class Five might not have been great at studying, but... they could definitely fight.

Jiang Xuhuai, Qingyang’s top dog and school heartthrob, was said to be the strongest member of the “Qingyang Boy Band,” and to have a taste for men and women of all ages.

Xie Zesheng, the grade’s bottom-ranked student and resident sleep champion, was rumored to have slept wherever he happened to be for an entire semester in his first year. If anyone had a problem with it, he’d fight them...

“Hey, new deskmate, what’s your name? How come I’ve never seen you before?”

“...Xie Zesheng.”

“No way. You’re that sleep champ who supposedly slept while walking and didn’t even wake up after walking into a wall?”

“...Yeah. I haven’t hit a wall, though.”

“Wow! You’re amazing, deskmate!”

“...”

“Deskmate, are you asleep?”

“...”

“Deskmate, are you hungry?”

“...”

“Deskmate, are you still there?”

“...”

“Deskmate, you, ”

“...Get lost.”

“Sure thing!”
