Through the eyes and hearts of ordinary Tibetans in Ngari, the daily pulse, tenacity of life, deep faith and unique cultural features of that plateau on the eve of the great changes of the times are recorded. Like depicting a huge, slowly flowing thangka, every stroke is a detail of life.
Location: Ngari region, Tibet. The core is set in a fictional but typical river valley area "Tashi Gang" (meaning auspicious hill), including pastures, farmland, a small monastery (Tashi Lin Temple), several scattered manors (Cuokang) and nomadic spots. It will also cover the regional background of important activities such as mountaineering (Kang Rinpoche), pilgrimage, salt and grain exchange, etc.
