Song of the Dragonspine

In a desolate land blanketed by dragon bones, a boy named Eric accidentally touches a crystal core sealed with mysterious strands of light. His left eye has the unusual ability to sense magic ore, and this discovery unravels the mystery of his long-buried bloodline. When a dragon descends from the heavens, an ancient call awakens the dragon blood sleeping within him, but it also brings the Empire’s Dragon Rider Corps down on him in a merciless hunt. They want to forge the dragon bloodline into a weapon of war and seize power capable of overturning the world.

While fleeing, Eric is rescued by Luna, a silver-haired girl from the Dragon Speaker Academy. Through the academy’s grueling training, he gradually masters the power of his dragon blood and learns ancient incantations that resonate with dragons. But his peaceful days of study are shattered by war: the Empire’s army surrounds the city, and, more shockingly, the enemy commander is his twin brother, missing for years and consumed by hatred, who has fallen into darkness.

Faced with his brother’s mad invitation and the duty of protecting the academy, Eric must choose between power and conscience. When he awakens a guardian dragon that has slept for a thousand years, he discovers that hatred has clouded the beast’s mind. When a purple bone dragon tears through the sky and an energy storm sparked by the resonance of dragon crystals threatens to destroy everything, can the boy use his dragon blood as his guide and protection as his purpose to rewrite a fate manipulated by the ambitious? An epic war that will decide the survival of the dragon race and the order of the world now begins.
