The mountains and rivers are picturesque, but they also hide countless ravines. Outside the prosperous state capital and county, there are rolling mountains and fields that are endless. The days there are not as ups and downs as the storytellers say, but more of a dull life with sunrise and sunset, and nights filled with mountain breeze, insect chirping and occasional strange stories that are unknown whether they are true or false.
Old people often say that this mountain is too deep and if you live there for a long time, anything may become a spirit or become a monster. Especially those desolate mountains and abandoned villages where no one goes, they are places harboring filth and evil and cannot be easily accessed.
Tang Yang has heard this since he was a child.
